This unique paper combines the best of Needlefelting and Wetfelting in one. This is the easy way to wet felt as it does not involve the hard work usually associated with that process. You can make lightweight lacey pieces, perhaps for a scarf, or you can make solid pieces maybe to make a bag. Whilst a full instruction leaflet is included for you briefly you tack the fibres onto the paper and then soak with soapy water and cover with the plastic sheet which is also provided. It is then rolled into a loose ‘sausage’ and secured at each end, then into an old pillow case – then into the tumble dryer. (It can also be done in the washing machine but I find the tumble drier gives the best results). The dryer will felt the piece without affecting the paper (it does not dry the item). Finally boiling water will remove the paper.
